Residents interested in exploring 3D printing technology will have an opportunity next week at the Eastern Shore of Virginia Regional Library & Heritage Center.
The library will host a 3D Printer Training and Certification Class on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 6 p.m. at the Eastern Shore of Virginia Regional Library & Heritage Center.
The hands-on session is designed to teach participants how to safely and effectively use the library’s 3D printer. Those who complete the training will become certified to use the library’s 3D printing equipment, opening the door to creating custom projects, prototypes, educational models, and creative designs.
Library officials say 3D printing continues to grow in popularity as a tool for makers, students, entrepreneurs, and hobbyists alike. From printing replacement parts and educational tools to crafting personalized gifts, the technology offers a wide range of practical and creative uses.
Space for the training is limited to 12 participants, and early registration is encouraged.
