CAPE CHARLES, Va. — The Cape Charles Town Council will meet on March 20 to discuss a range of issues, including the adoption of the 2025 Community Strategic Plan and several zoning and real estate matters.
The meeting, scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Cape Charles Civic Center, will feature a vote on the town’s updated strategic plan, which outlines long-term goals and priorities for the community.
Council members will also consider Conditional Use Permit 2025-02 for a property located at 711 Tazewell Avenue/302 Fig Street, as well as a lease amendment for The Hungry Crab, LLC, the entity operating The Shanty restaurant.
Other agenda items include a proposed real estate tax exemption for certain elderly or disabled residents, a zoning map amendment request from Seabreeze Associates, LLC, and a zoning text amendment proposed by the town.
