The current Cape Charles Drinking Water Quality report for this year has been completed. The report shows no issues with coliform or E.coli bacteria. There were no violations.
Some levels of sodium were detected. While there is no drinking water standard for sodium, the EPA recommends sodium levels in water not exceeding 20 milligrams per liter (mg/L) for people on very low sodium diets and 270 mg/L for people on moderately restricted sodium diets.
