CAPE CHARLES, Va. — Adding a touch of historical charm to the town’s July 4th festivities, Cape Charles invites attendees to pose with a 100-year-old fire truck for timeless photos. This unique opportunity will be available immediately following the parade for one hour at Peach Street Books.
The vintage fire truck, a cherished piece of Cape Charles’ history, will be on display, offering a perfect backdrop for memorable photographs. Participants are encouraged to capture these special moments and step back in time to appreciate the town’s rich heritage.
Donations are welcomed to support the event, ensuring the preservation of such historical artifacts and continuing the tradition of community celebrations. In case of inclement weather, the backup location will be the CCVFC Fire Station.
