The Friends of the Cape Charles Memorial Library invite you to join them with Chris Bannon and Joe Coccaro, for Afternoon Tea, “Celebrate the Spirit of Cape Charles”, on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the Cape Charles Civic Center, 500 Tazewell Avenue in Cape Charles.
This is the last of three Teas the Friends will have over the Fall/Winter season this year. Long-time Cape Charles resident Chris Bannon will interview Joe Coccaro, author of Woo-Woo, A Novel about Cape Charles, while you enjoy four wonderful, warming teas and 3 sweet and 3 savory foods. Joe lives full-time in Cape Charles and spent three years crafting the novel about the town based upon its many eccentricities. He is executive editor of a book publishing company.
As such, he edited, rewritten, ghost written and co-authored hundreds of novels and works of non-fiction by authors from around the world, including several New York Times bestsellers. There will be beautiful decorations, tea served in real china, and a gift bag for each guest. This promises to be a unique and entertaining, not-to-be-missed event! Reservations are required, and Teas sell out quickly. The price is $20.00, plus a $2.03 charge if you pay by credit card.

Go to www.CC-WooWoo-tea.eventbrite.com to book your ticket or, if you wish to pay by check or speak to someone, call 695-4192 to purchase your tickets. Several wonderful items will be raffled at the event, so bring your money to purchase raffle tickets. Please book early!
There will be books available for purchase and Joe will personally signed them at the end of the tea.
