The Town of Cheriton will be having their Holiday Grand Illumination Parade and Festivities on December 7 from 5:00PM – 7:00PM.
The event will start with a parade starting on Cherrystone road and proceeding to Bayside Rd business district and ending in front of the Cheriton Town Park. The participants for the parade will be:
1.United States Coast Guard Auxillary- Presenting the colors.
2. American Legion Post 56- Banner and flags
3. Cheriton Volunteer Fire Truck #1
4. Eastville Volunteer Fire Company
5. Northampton County Sheriff #1
6.Antique Tractor Club
7.McGruff the Crime Dog & Daring Dog
8. Hailey Florey with Horse
9.Cheriton Town Council
10. Northampton County Sheriff #2
11. Cheriton Volunteer Fire Truck #2 with Santa & Ms. Claus
Proceeding the completion of the parade we will have the lighting of the town tree and musical performances from the following:
1. Cheriton United Methodist acapella ladies
2.Terry Thomas- Solo
3. Terry & Amanda Thomas- duet
4. Jeanine Pike with Children Billy & Jeanette (2 songs)
5.Cape Charles Christian School with LaShanda Holeman (3 songs)
