CHERITON, Va. — The Cheriton Volunteer Fire Company will host the 4th Annual Frank “Sonny” Etz Memorial Car Show on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the fire company, located at 21334 South Bayside Road.
The event will feature expanded vehicle classes, including motorcycles, rat rods and custom golf carts. Attendees can enjoy food, music, drinks, raffles and door prizes throughout the day. Dash plaques will be given to the first 75 registered participants, and trophies will be awarded at 7 p.m.
Registration opens at 2 p.m. and costs $20 for pre-registered vehicles or $25 on the day of the event. A prize will be awarded to the participant who traveled the farthest to attend.
Organizers encourage participants and spectators to follow updates on the Cheriton Volunteer Fire Company’s Facebook page. A rain date has been set for Sunday, Aug. 24, 2025.
