American Legion Post 56 in Cheriton Virginia presented the business of the year award to Chris’s Bait and Tackle Shop. Chris and Mark have provided outstanding support to the American Legion in their Freedom Hunters endeavors over the years. Commander Glenn Purvis stated that without their help the program would not have been such a success. The Freedom Hunters are a veterans and active-duty entity that is an offspring of the Wounded Warriors program.
The Freedom Hunter’s will be on the Easternshore again three times this year and Chris’s Bait and Tackle will be standing beside them to help wherever they can.
