Onancock, VA – The first baby to be born at the new Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital came into the world at 6:03pm on Sunday, February 26, 2017. Christon Josiah Kellam was welcomed by his mother, Kia Spady, and father, Charles Kellam, Jr.
Christon weighed seven pounds and fifteen ounces and was born via caesarian section, making Spady the first surgical patient at the new hospital.
Certified Nurse Midwife Marissa Blair and obstetrician Dr. H. John Reason delivered the healthy baby boy.
