The Challenge B students (8th grade +) and other CC families recently visited the Eastville Courthouse in preparation for their Mock Trial event in May. Judge Burge spent time with the kids explaining how the court works and gave a tour of the courthouse. Then Judge Vincent hosted the kids in his traffic court so they could see how a real court room is conducted and then answered all their questions afterwards. It was a fantastic field trip and the kids came away with a greater knowledge of our legal system.
