Members of the Eastern Shore community are invited to come tell their stories through a Coastal Writing Workshop in late April at UVA’s Coastal Research Center in Oyster.
Participants don’t need to be experienced writers, and they don’t need to consider themselves coastal writers. Our experience of the coast weaves its way into everything we do, and thus all writing (in our region) becomes coastal writing.
All genres and experience levels are welcome.
More information on joining the workshop is here: https://www.abcrc.virginia.edu/siteman2/index.php/2020/02/07/call-for-writers-of-the-eastern-shore/.
Interested writers should respond to Cora (coraj@virginia.edu or 620-7016) by March 7.
The keynote address on Saturday evening and readings of participant writing on Sunday afternoon will be open to the public.
