The year-end Code Enforcement numbers for Fiscal Year 2018 are in, and they indicate robust growth and construction in Cape Charles.
390 permits were issued last year, with a total construction valuation of $8,900,467. This spike in construction also allowed the town to collect $225,599.49 in fees.
Connection and facility fees were also up, totaling $124,565.
All in all, the Code Enforcement Office completed 1,245 inspections.
