About the Author
Councilwoman – on May 15, Town Council voted unanimously to maintain the Cheriton bike trail with very little discussion of cost. In fact the only things discussed were buckling of the asphalt, and over growth. Is Town Council in the habit of approving expenditures without any due diligence of the cost? Can you point in your budget packet to where we have budgeted to take care of that bike trail? If not, what part of the Public Works budget has gone up to represent this increased burden you and Town Council have assumed?
