Saturday, November 10 – 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. – The Barrier Island Center will be hosting a Carving Class with PG Ross. Cost: $125. Participants will learn the basics of carving while making a traditional Black-bellied Plover shorebird decoy. PG uses traditional tools and techniques based on characteristics of live birds and is strongly influenced by both past and modern carvers who fashion birds in the gunning tradition. Class is open to children and adults.
Please pre-register for all classes and programs at 678.5550 or barrierislandscenter.org
