Delegate Bloxom, currently serving the people of the 100th District in the Virginia House of Delegates, is proud to officially announce his campaign for re-election in the upcoming November 2025 election.
“It has been a great honor to serve our community in Richmond since 2014,” said Delegate Bloxom. “Together, we have made real progress for the district. I am proud to say I have championed millions of dollars in state supported projects for the Eastern Shore, Virginia Beach, and the Commonwealth. But there is still work to do.”
“The ”Rob’s Mob” campaign to continue that work officially begins now” said Bloxom. He invites all supporters, neighbors, and friends to help celebrate the Official kick-off of the Campaign August 12, 2025 at 5:30pm at Mallards at the Wharf.There is no cost to attend, and all are welcome. Donations are gratefully accepted and are vital to securing victory in November.
“This campaign will be built the same way we have always done it, with grassroots volunteers and the voices and energy of our community leading the way,” Delegate Bloxom added. “I look forward to seeing you on August 12th as we celebrate how far we have progressed as we get ready for the road ahead.”
Robert S. Bloxom, Jr. is a native to the Eastern Shore of Virginia and resides in the Parksley area. Rob and his wife, Lou, are the proud parents of three adult children, Blaire, Madison, and Brant. After high school, Rob went to the University of Richmond to complete his undergraduate degree and returned to the Eastern Shore to take over a third generation family business.
Rob is the owner of Shore Tire & Auto in Onley, Virginia and two NAPA Auto Parts stores, located in Onley and Mappsville, Virginia. He is also the owner and operator of Egret Point Seafood Company. He is an active member of Grace United Methodist Church, the Onancock Rotary, and a Director of the Economic Development Authority.
Bloxom was elected to the Virginia House of Delegates for the 100th District in February 2014. This area encompasses Accomack and Northampton Counties as well as a portion of the City of Virginia Beach. Rob was named the 2015 Legislative Rookie of the Year by the Virginia Education Association, given the Champion of Economic Development Award in 2019 by the Eastern Shore Economic Development Authority, and named the 2022 Legislator of the Year by the Virginia Soil and Water Conservation.
He was appointed to be a budget conferee in 2022 by the Speaker of the House and has been appointed every year since, both while being a member of the majority party and, more importantly, while serving in the minority.
