  1. Where would this beach be? What would the environmental impact be? Why do we need another beach when there is always plenty of room on the Cape Charles public beach?

  2. It would be nice to have more public beaches more centrally located on the Shore. Our water ways and beaches are our greatest asset. Both need to be invested in if you are looking for tourism.

  3. I also feel there is an opportunity for Northampton County to increase tourists interest with some historical events. There is a wealth of information and opportunities here with exploring and offering local American Indian events. They can be demonstrations and educational with artifacts. I would love to see this something the community pursues. We are part of the first contact area and our Oldest Continuous Court Records in the Nation are also the Oldest Continuous Indian Records in the Nation. Just sayin’.

    1. I agree with the historical importamce of the Shore, bit do we really need another beach to promote it? Last year tourism grew very well here with things just as they are! According to an article in the Mirror on 09/17/2017, “ESVA had the state’s fastest griwing tourism region for the last three of four years!”
