After suffering at the hands of aΒ grossly negligent and uncaring government, the Cape Charles Dolphin spent a traumatic winter season, broken and neglected next to town trash cans. In an ill-advised move (yes, yet another), the town decided to move the dolphin, and in the process, dropped and broke it. Yet, all is well again, as the dolphin has now been repaired and is once again gracing the Townβs boardwalk. If you look closely, you can see little footprints in the sandΒ from all ofΒ the kids that gotten up and rode the dolphinβ¦how many kids over the years have performed this old school rite of passage? Welcome back, old friend. You have been missed!
