The EAVA Climate Equity Workshop is excited to extend this special invitation to join their upcoming Eastern Shore Climate Equity Workshop in February 2024. Your unique insights and perspectives would be invaluable in shaping a community-driven strategy for climate equity on the Shore. Our partnership, led by the University of Virginia and local leaders of the Community Advisory Committee, including André Elliott, Karen Downing, and Cora Baird, is dedicated to fostering collaboration and understanding in addressing climate challenges in the Shore.
Event Details:
Date: Wednesday, February 7, 2024
Location: Eastern Shore Community College, 29300 Lankford Hwy, Melfa, Virginia 23410
Sessions: Choose from two identical sessions: 2 pm – 4:30 pm OR 5:30 pm – 8 pm
Dinner: Enjoy a delightful buffet dinner available between 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm
What to Expect:
- Insightful presentations on addressing community priorities on climate equity
- Engaging interactive stations
- Existing resources and tools available on the Shore about climate equity
This family-friendly event. While registration is not mandatory, they kindly request an RSV to assist with planning.
