ACCOMAC, Va. — The Eastern Shore Public Library is partnering with the SPCA Eastern Shore to host a monthlong supply drive to support the animal shelter.
From Sept. 1–30, donations can be dropped off at the Eastern Shore of Virginia Regional Library & Heritage Center in Accomac and the Northampton Free Library in Nassawadox.
The shelter’s wishlist includes linens, gently used towels and blankets, Purina dry dog food, Purina One dog food, Golden Rewards chicken peanut–flavored dog treats, Purina Cat Chow Indoor, Purina Kitten Chow, Temptations cat treats, Friskies canned cat food (excluding pâté), non-clumping clay cat litter, Dawn dish liquid, liquid laundry detergent, bleach, dryer sheets and paper towels.
Library staff encourage residents to bring any purchased supplies directly to the libraries during operating hours.
