Eastern Shore Public Library rolls out its new online library catalog named ShoreCat.
Shorecat has a searchable mobile app that allows you to search word suggestions as you type. The catalog is also searchable by series. You can also search the main catalog for digital E-Books.
There is a “Community Tab” for a directory of local community groups, with contact information.
For educators, the app provides the ability for teachers to create required reading lists for students.
If you can’t find a book that you want, Shorecat allows you to suggest titles to library staff for purchase.
Users can now create personalized watch lists for additions of favorite authors, topics, series, and material types to the ESPL catalog.
Bookbags, savable shopping carts for books and materials found while browsing the catalog.
