ONANCOCK, Virginia – The Eastern Shore Cruisers car club recently made two generous donations to Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital and the Riverside Shore Cancer Center.
The car club donated $5,000 to the Cancer Center – the proceeds from the very successful third annual Axing Out Cancer car, tractor, truck and Corvette show held in October in Accomac.
Additionally, the club donated another $1,000 to Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital to support patients with sleep disorders in memory of the spouse of a club member.
“We here at Riverside on the Shore appreciate the hard work and generosity of the ES Cruisers car club members,” said John Peterman, President of Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. “Their thoughtful support will brighten the lives of some of our most vulnerable patients during a very difficult time in their lives.”

WOW ! I apologize for my ignorance. I sortta thought The Cruisers are a group of guys who were living in the past and couldn’t let go of memories of old cars. I’m not a fan of old cars. BUT I will now stop and visit their car shows and find a way to assist their charities.
