Exmore, VA (July 12, 2017) – As a part of their strategic planning process, the Eastern Shore of Virginia Broadband Authority (ESVBA) will hold two public Town Hall meetings next week to discuss broadband connectivity and service opportunities for Accomack and Northampton counties.
The sessions will be held from 6-8pm on July 18th (Eastern Shore Community College Workforce Development Services Building, 29300 Lankford Highway, Melfa, VA) and July 19th (Northampton County Administration Board Room, 16404 Courthouse Road, Eastville, VA).
ESVBA hired CTC Technology & Energy (CTC) an independent communications and IT Engineering consulting firm from Kensington, MD, to guide them through their 2017 strategic planning process. CTC executives will be on hand to lead both town hall sessions.
CTC will share the goals and mission of the ESVBA, provide an overview of the projects undertaken to date, and then talk about emerging national trends in broadband service and their anticipated impact on Virginia’s Eastern Shore. After the presentation, CTC representatives will lead a facilitated discussion to solicit information, input, and ideas, related to the local broadband service landscape.
All residents, investors, and business representatives from the Counties of Northhampton and Accomack are highly encouraged to attend and participate.
