Cape Charles Gazzette – The Cape Charles Town Council held a special meeting on Thursday, June 1, 2023, to celebrate Gerald Elliott, who began his career with the Town of Cape Charles on June 1, 1983.
Proclamation 20230601 was adopted by Council and read by Mayor Charney, to honor Gerald for his 40 years of dedicated service to the Town, our residents and businesses.
There were a number of residents from the Town, Gerald’s family and friends, and Town staff in attendance to celebrate with Gerald and enjoy cake. Afterwards, the group sat around and shared their stories of Gerald over the years.
