The Historic Onancock School is hosting a The Creekside Crawl 5K walk/run on April 3.
The event will be held at HOS and run a 5K circuit around the town of Onancock. There is also a Puddle Jumper ½ mile route for kids. This will be on the nature trail on the school property.
Family fun will continue with an Easter Egg Hunt for kids 12 and under on the soccer field.
This is a family friendly outdoor, safe, socially distanced event to raise funds for the much needed new playground that will be installed this spring on our grounds.
HOS was fortunate to receive a substantial grant last year from the Robert E. & Marie Orr-Smith Foundation to purchase the equipment, now we are on the final leg of fundraising for the finishing touches – picnic tables, sail shades, and sidewalks to make this a family-friendly community space.
