For the past decade, Three’s Company, a trio comprising pianist Lee Jordan-Anders, clarinetist Rob Middleton, and cellist Jeff Phelps have met during their summer vacations for a casual evening of chamber music played amongst friends. This year, to celebrate the “new” piano donated to the Cokesbury church by Kirk Mariner, they invite the public to their reunion. They’ll perform trios by Beethoven, Brahms, as well as a new work by Rob Middleton written especially for this occasion. The program also includes selections from Robert Schumann’s “Fantasy Pieces” for piano solo, “Romances” for clarinet and piano, and “Fantasy Pieces” for cello and piano.
