The Friends of the Eastern Shore Public Library presents Fourth Tuesday at the Library at 7:00 p.m. on October 25 with Margaret Van Clief, Outreach and Education Coordinator for The Virginia Coast Reserve, which is based at The Nature Conservancy at Nassawadox.
She will talk about her favorite ways to get outside on Virginia’s Eastern Shore from birding to hiking and kayaking and also do good works by helping to pick up trash on the barrier islands. Ongoing projects such as seagrass restoration, local oyster restoration and migratory bird conservation efforts will also be discussed.
The evening is free, open to the public and refreshments will be served. The Accomac Library is at 23610 Front St., Accomac. For more information contact the library at 787-3400.
