1 thought on “Medicare for all would cost $32.6 TRILLION

  1. From the same article where you quote that 77 percent of Americans are happy with their health care arrangements
“Most Americans say the U.S. healthcare system is troubled: Nearly three-quarters of employed Americans (73%) say the healthcare system is “in a state of crisis” or “has major problems” in Gallup’s most recent survey. There is little difference between American workers’ attitudes on the healthcare system and the overall U.S. public, among which 71% say the system is “in a state of crisis” or “has major problems.”

By the way the article does NOT say 77 percent are happy with their health care arrangements.
It says they rate their personal healthcare as good or excellent. My reading is they are happy with the quality, not necessarily the cost. There is a difference.

It is easy to selectively quote things to make them say what you want.

Note: Good point, and this is why we like comments. This article was not very well written, as the main point is that our medical care is pretty good now…are we willing to accept less care, but not paying, or severely lowering costs? 32 trillion is something the market can bear, but for the taxpayer, well….
