Missy Cotter Smasal’s Powerhouse of Political Support Grows

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA — Missy Cotter Smasal’s campaign for Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District receives a critical endorsement from Newport News Mayor Phillip Jones. The announcement comes only a few days after the DCCC added Cotter Smasal’s campaign to the coveted Red to Blue Program. Newport News Mayor Phillip Jones is the latest endorser Cotter Smasal has added to a broad coalition of political support.

“Missy has a proven track record of commitment to Coastal Virginia,” said Newport News Mayor Phillip Jones. “She has been a strong advocate on local issues and will continue to fight for the people of Hampton Roads in Congress. I am happy to endorse her in her race for the 2nd Congressional District.”
