You will learn about soil, fertilizers, plants and landscaping. These classes are taught by experts in their field, are specific to Eastern Shore gardening issues, and include educational field trips. You will develop resources to answer your questions as well as those from other gardeners who ask you for information. You will be able to get ideas for your garden. You also will give back to the community by volunteering 50 hours during your internship. After the course and the volunteer hours are completed, you will be able to call yourself a MASTER GARDENER.
