The New Roots Youth Garden free Summer Garden Club is in full swing. Don’t let the summer fly by without getting your hands into the soil!
The club will meet Thursdays in the garden June 29th thru August 17th from 5 – 6:15 pm. Kids run their own garden from 5:30 to 6:00.

In today’s fast-paced and technology-driven world, connecting children with nature and teaching them about the environment is more important than ever. The New Roots Youth Garden provides a hands-on experience that exposes the kids to plant life, encourages environmental stewardship, and develops a sense of responsibility and patience.
The new roots summer camp offers our kids a unique opportunity to engage in hands-on learning: sowing seeds, nurturing plants, and witnessing the growth process, kids gain practical knowledge about plant biology, the seasons, and the importance of caring for living organisms.
While this camp is incredibly fun, it also provides a multitude of benefits that extend beyond the boundaries of a garden bed. Experiential learning at New Roots fosters a deeper understanding and appreciation of the natural world.
