April 25, 2019 has been proclaimed Boys & Girls Club Day by the Northampton County Board of Supervisors. The day will be celebrated from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Occohannock Elementary School, 4208 Seaside Road, Exmore.
Board Chairman Spencer Murray will read the Proclamation at 4:30 PM. The Eastern Shore Boys and Girls Club’s Advisory Board invites the public to join the festivity and learn how its after-school program supports those youngsters who need us the most.
Established in 2009, the Eastern Shore Club, led by its Executive Director, Ms. Kathy Custis, provides a safe haven, academic support and a hot meal each day when the closing school bell rings.
