In an unusual move, the Northampton County Democratic Committee took to Facebook this week to criticize Delegate Rob Bloxom’s tie, claiming it failed to adequately depict Virginia’s Eastern Shore.
The tie, patterned with small gold silhouettes of the Commonwealth of Virginia, prompted the Committee to post: “What’s missing from his tie? It’s not a good look for someone representing the Shore.”
Bloxom quickly responded on his own Facebook account, writing, “Really??? No one has advocated for the Eastern Shore more than I. Ask JMU’s President about their football helmet fiasco. Long story short, the Eastern Shore hasn’t been left off since. Thankful one of my friends from the Democratic Party called this to my attention. Let’s stay positive.”
The exchange sparked online discussion, with many commenters calling the critique petty and praising Bloxom’s record of representing the Eastern Shore.

Thats what a immature loosing group does . They have nothing, prove nothing, are not going to win . So ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK ATTEMPTS.
The Eastern Shore is very easy to see on that ugly necktie.
You would have to be a complete idiot to walk around with a tie around your neck in the first place. I remember a couple instructors at law enforcement school, in the military, demonstrate how easy it is to grab the skinny end of the tie and drag a man around like a rag doll.
You are correct sir. It actually happened to two men last week in Exmore. They were grabbed by their tie and dragged around like rag dolls. Statistics show it happens every 16 seconds somewhere in the USA.
Not many neckties are being worn in Exmore. Besides, most folks are just too dim to think of it. Not real bright, are you? A few bricks shy of a load? Did you ride the ‘short-bus’ to school? You obviously know little of offense, defense or law enforcement.
1) Law enforcement officers often wear clip-on or pre-tied ties instead of traditional neckties for safety reasons, as a loose tie can be grabbed during a struggle, posing a choking hazard. Additionally, these ties provide a consistent and professional appearance while minimizing risks during physical confrontations.
2) Reasons Law Enforcement Officers Avoid Neckties
Safety Concerns
Risk of Strangulation: Neckties can be dangerous in confrontational situations. An assailant could grab a tie, potentially choking or subduing the officer.
You must wear neckties and he just made you feel inadequate about it, so you make up silly comments to defend your poor choice of clothing. Sad.
Geez, what a crew of thin-skinned babies you all are.
Are you having trouble finishing what you started?
Peter, I ordered from Amazon a mop for you to gather your tears.
This is awesome! Necktie fight! Hahahahahahahaha!
Hey Peter, are you a fashion consultant? What’s the “in” Fall wardrobe “must have”? Are “you a fan of the HBO show “Sex And The City”?
You nailed it on the head Rick, life on the Shore is dangerous! Did you know that death by tie is the 4,767,899,112,538,944th leading cause of death in the world?
Nuts to the left.
Nuts to the right…
Into the valley of nuts rode the 600
….all wearing neckties
Love all these knee-jerk reactions! So easy to harvest.
I really hope Mr. Trump isn’t caught up in this Epsteen scandal. This has Democrat hoax written all over it. From the fake January 6 “news” coverage where families were actually picnicking and not riots (documented proof) to the stollen election that was orchistrated by CHINA because they are jealous of MR> TRUMP!!! If any one person can defeat LUCIFER its MR TRUMP! JD Vance is in 2nd place and Erika Kirk is in3rd place!!!
Folks act like those girls were hog-tied and forced to attend epstien’s parties. They went willing and were paid well for their services. In some cases their parents were ‘compensated’ for letting them attend. It is not like rick james, that kept a couple broads tied up under his bed for a week or so, to be used at his will.
