May 15, 2016 Cape Charles — The Northampton County Education Foundation invites the Northampton County School Division’s community of friends and supporters to celebrate excellence in teaching on Tuesday, June 2nd.
At its annual Teacher Recognition Banquet, the Division’s Teacher of the year, other outstanding teachers and the 2016 retirees will be honored.
The Banquet’s principal speaker, State Delegate Robert Bloxom will join the division’s administration and school board to recognize the dedication of our outstanding classroom teachers.
The festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m June 2, 2016 at Hungars Episcopal Church at 7551 Bayside Rd., Bridgetown, Va.
Sponsors of the event include the Northampton County Education Foundation and the Northampton County Education Association.
The public is invited. Tickets are available at the Northampton County Schools Central Office in Machipongo and all local school offices for $10.00.
