Along with Food Critic Henry Hong (who has pronounced his love of the filet sandwich here Warning: Henry tends to use adult language on occassion), we believe the McD’s FOF is by far the best fish sandwich found anywhere…and, the company has been making great strides to be sure it is made from only sustainable fisheries.
Even as it’s hard to improve upon the original, local McDonald’s restaurants are bringing back one of our favs, the Old Bay Filet-O-Fish, the locally inspired take on the fast food chain’s fish sandwich that includes tartar sauce with the Baltimore region’s seasoning of choice.
Expect to find it in restaurants starting Feb. 2.
