This gorgeous girl is Gemma, an 11-month-old dilute tortie with the kind of striking face you can’t scroll past. She’s spayed, vaccinated, and ready for her forever home!
Gemma’s a little shy when you first meet her — shelter life isn’t her favorite, and who could blame her? But give her a little time to warm up and you’ll find a sweet, independent, and curious cat who knows exactly what she wants. She’s not much of a lap cat, but she’s affectionate in her own laid-back way, and she’ll happily bat around a soft ball or mouse toy when the mood strikes.

She gets along great with the other cats here at the shelter. We don’t know if she’s ever been around dogs, so how she might react to living in a home with a pup is an unknown.
Gemma is just looking for someone patient enough to let her come out of her shell — and we think she’ll be worth the wait. ![]()
