Hi I am Gretchen. Due to circumstances beyond my control I have come to the SPCA seeking a new home. I am a 6-year-old White German Shepard.
I did not live with other dogs in the home, and am most likely better suited as an only dog in the home, my vet records list me as dog aggressive.
I am spayed and up to date on my vaccinations. I weigh in at very close to 100 pounds.
I should do well in a home with children, I am gentle on the leash and friendly to people.
It is uncertain how I would do in a home with cats, but most likely should not go into a home with cats.
I am spayed and up to date on vaccinations. I am friendly and semi-active. But gentle and friendly when you meet me.

If you think you may be interested in adopting Gretchen you can stop by the shelter any Tuesday-Saturday from 10a.m.-2:30p.m. for a kennel walk through. (We have no same day adoptions and an approved adoption application is required to be scheduled for a meet and greet.)
You can pick up an adoption application while you are there or print one off on our website anytime www.shorespca.com.
You can also email us and ask that an adoption application be attached and sent back to you at shorespca@gmail.com
You can call the Shelter Tuesday-Saturday 10a.m.-3p.m. with any questions at 757-787-7385
