Hey, I’m Howie and I’m a lovely older boy. I’m a terrier mix neutered male, and I’m 5-7 years old-which is a wonderful age. I’m 40 lb., already grown, and settled into adulthood, without being too old to play and cuddle. I am very loving and just enjoy being with people. I haven’t been around other dogs yet, nor cats or children.

I’ve not had a great life, being kept outside in a pen, until that became a burden and I was taken to animal control. I’ve put on some needed weight, and gotten rid of the fleas, and life is good now. Hopefully, the best is yet to come, in the form of a family to love forever.
I have already been neutered and am up to date on vaccines. I am heartworm positive and have begun antibiotics, but will have to stay here at the shelter until I’ve received the shots that’ll kill the heartworms.
