The deadline for obtaining or renewing business licenses for 2026 was April 15th. The Treasurer’s Office has been working diligently to reach out to businesses with expired – or no – business licenses. We want to assist businesses in complying with Chapter 18 of the Town Code.
If your business is no longer operational, let us know so we can deactivate the account. Businesses that have not yet obtained the required business license are encouraged to contact the Treasurer’s Office as soon as possible to come into compliance with the Town Code.

If a business remains non-compliant, the Treasurer’s Office may take additional enforcement action, which could include posting a notice at the business location, publishing the names of businesses that continue to be out of compliance, and pursuing penalties authorized under Town Code Section 18-39, which allows for penalties of up to $500 per day. Town Code Section 18-39. – Violations of Chapter.
It shall be unlawful and constitute a Class 3 misdemeanor for any person to violate any of the provisions of this chapter.
