10 thoughts on “Rep. Luria Named Most Effective VA Lawmaker By New Report

  1. I’ve been tracking her accomplishments since she was elected. Her work ethic is exceptional; her attempts at bipartisan efforts are good for the district/state/country. My only comment that might be helpful is that most republicans who don’t get her emails or face book postings or twitter tweets have no clue how good a job she is doing.

Keep up the great work and take care of all your constituents. We are proud of your efforts and accomplishments!

Rex b Fitch Jr, Captain USN (Ret)

Note: It should be noted that she was also a DESRON Commander during her service. Career Navy folks understand what that means.

  2. Your newsletters are astonishing for their revelation of the many good works you are promoting. I will vote for you again and again. Thanks for your leadership!

  3. I am delighted we have a congressional representative that cares about our country and makes a hard effort
to fill the needs of our country and our citizens. Of special concern is attention paid to environmental issues.

  4. Less effective politicians would be a blessing for this country:

1 – Ms. Lauria’s voting record this past year was 95% in line with Democrat policies.

2 – She voted in favor of Mr. Trump’s 2nd, vindictive impeachment attempt after he left office.

3 – She voted to remove the deadline for the ERA amendment, long since dead.

4 – She voted for the People Act of 2021 which nullifies states rights to determine their own elections.

5 – She voted for the Equality Act which destroys women’s sports.

I could go on but you get the point. She is a Liberal through and through and trying to paint her as anything other than another party hack is disingenuous, or just another Tuesday for (D)’s.

In addition, I attended her town hall in CC last year which turned out to be nothing like an actual town hall. Rather, it was a scripted affair with screened questions and no real interaction with the attendees and a fair amount of preening by the Representative.

So, please stop pissing in our collective ears and telling us it’s raining.

    1. It might be help;ful to remember that our former Congressman had few accomplishments when he left than co-sponsoring bills to add new “Days” to celebrate, a mediocre attendance record when he did get near the Capitol and was forgetful about paying real estate taxes. He did not provide me with information or news about legislation in regular newsletters that talk about what is happening in Washington since The Republicans controlled both houses and failed to bring legislation to the floor to debate, much less pass or discuss with constituents. I attended two of Scott Taylor’s town meetings and can tell you that he was clueless about most current concerns and also screened questions as well as avoided straight answers. Let Mr. Taylor settle his problems from before and be ready to propose better ideas for all of us in the District (besides you) and run him again. I voted for him once and could again if he would tell me what he stands for and a path to get that voted for NOT just what he is against.

  5. I have known Elaine all her life – not one bit surprised. Still , I’m proud and glad she is continuing to accomplish much needed help for her constituents and our country.

    1. Way it’s going, there is only going to be one point of view and people like Rep. Lauria will be complicit in accomplishing it.
