CAPE CHARLES, Va. — A Cape Charles resident has raised concerns about a flatbed trailer with a lawnmower that has been parked for years on Tazewell Avenue, saying it clutters the residential street and is only occasionally moved before being returned to the same spot.
The resident, who reported the issue to town officials, questioned why the trailer cannot be stored elsewhere instead of remaining on a public street for extended periods.
In response, Town Manager Rick Keuroglian said he provided a copy of the town’s street parking code to the Cape Charles Police Department and asked the police chief to review the matter and consider enforcement options.
Town officials did not immediately say whether any citations or further action had been taken regarding the trailer.
