Eastern Shore of Virginia residents enrolled in or having applied to a college curriculum related to natural resources conservation may apply for scholarship funding from local sources.
The W. Foster Fletcher Conservation Scholarship and the William H. Beasley, Sr. Memorial Scholarship, both administered by the Eastern Shore Soil and Water Conservation District’s Endowment Committee, are available to Eastern Shore of Virginia residents who are full-time students or who have applied to a college undergraduate level curriculum. Two $500 scholarships will be awarded.
Friday, April 14, 2017, is the deadline to apply for the W. Foster Fletcher Conservation Scholarship and the William H. Beasley, Sr. Memorial Scholarship. Application materials may be obtained from the District office in Accomac by calling 757-787-0918, ext. 101 or by emailing Mary.Melson@esswcd.org .
