At the October 10th Northampton County School Board Work Session meeting there will be a presentation on the Community Eligibility Provision. The reasoning that went into the decision not to move forward with the provision this year will be discussed.
The CEP is a non-pricing meal service option for schools and school districts in low-income areas. CEP allows the nation’s highest poverty schools and districts to serve breakfast and lunch at no cost to all enrolled students without collecting household applications.
The meeting will be held in the Northampton High School library. The meeting starts at 6:00 p.m.
