Science and Philosophy Seminar of the Eastern Shore of Virginia has scheduled its next seminar, “MAN WOMAN BIRTH DEATH INFINITY.” The free 90-minute seminar will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday, January 17 in Room 113 of the brand-spanking-new building of the Eastern Shore Community College, 29300 Lankford Hwy, Melfa, VA 23410.
Art Fournier will explore what knowledge and wisdom can be gathered from the study of these two driving forces of evolution, Sex and Death.
Fournier is a retired medical educator. As a result of his work teaching and caring for dying patients in Miami and in Haiti, as well as personal tragedy in his own family, few are as qualified to speak on the forensic, biologic, psychological and social aspects of death and dying. Sex, not so much, but he plans to tap into the collective wisdom of the audience on this subject…
