Science and Philosophy Seminar of the Eastern Shore of Virginia has scheduled its next seminar, “Where Are the Women? Come Learn the Hidden History of Virginia Women.” The free 90-minute seminar will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, February 7 in the Room 113 of the new building of the Eastern Shore Community College, 29300 Lankford Hwy, Melfa, VA 23410.
Barbara C. Batson will discuss women who were significant in Virginia history, such as Nancy Polk, Anne Burras, and Anna Bodeker, but who are generally unknown.
Batson, a published author, is Exhibitions Coordinator for Library of Virginia.
