Science and Philosophy Seminar of the Eastern Shore of Virginia has scheduled a seminar, “Writing in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.” The free 90-minute seminar will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 13 in Room 148 of the Academic Building of Eastern Shore Community College, 29300 Lankford Hwy, Melfa, VA 23410.

WRITING IN THE AGE OF AI, David Poyer’s latest book, is the result of an investigation of the various new AI writing programs at the behest of the Irish Writers Union
Poyer, who lives on the Shore, is the author of nearly 50 books with major publishers and taught creative writing at the university level for 16 years.
These seminars are occasionally rescheduled on short notice. Prospective attendees are urged to check the Seminar’s website (www.SciPhi.org) shortly before a scheduled date.
Science and Philosophy Seminar is an informally organized group that meets more or less regularly to explore and discuss a wide array of topics, ranging from philosophical speculation to scientific research. All Seminars are open to the public. Admission is free.
