Last week’s shooting threats at Northampton are still under investigation, and being taken seriously by the school and our County Sheriffs Department.
Sheriff Doughty told the Mirror, “Our investigators are still currently working to try and identify the individual or individuals responsible for the initial threat that was posted Sunday, October 14, 2018 through a social media source. My office was made aware of the threat around 10am Monday. We will be continuing a increased level of security until further notice. We would encourage anyone who has information regarding the investigation to contact the Northampton County Sheriff’s Office at 757-678-0458 or by texting an anonymous tip to 847-411 and typing the key word NHCS before the message.”
