Science and Philosophy Seminar of the Eastern Shore of Virginia has scheduled its next seminar, “Shore U: History; Status; Plans.” The free 90-minute seminar will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday, April 26 in the Lecture Hall of the Eastern Shore Community College, 29300 Lankford Hwy, Melfa, VA 23410.
Terry Malarkey, Ed Murdy, and Chris Marcy will talk about how the ambition and efforts to get a 4-year educational institution (Shore U) established here on ESVA got started, what’s been done, and where we’re going.
Marcy, Murdy, and Malarkey are all retired from various careers and live here on the Shore.
