An Executive MBA graduate student at Virginia Commonwealth University and their MBA project team is partnering with the University of the Eastern Shore of Virginia Foundation to help with their business plan.
Their goal is to bring a four-year higher education institution to the Eastern Shore of Virginia. You can find out more at the Foundation’s website here: https://shoreu.org/.
To gather information for the plan, they created two 5-10 minute surveys that anyone can briefly answer online. The surveys will be accepting responses through Sunday, March 28, 2021.
The first survey is about economic growth and what people think will impact the local economy. This survey is designed for the business community, property owners and regional leaders from all industries and organizations.
You can view the survey here: https://bit.ly/2MuTQdE.
The second survey asks people what they think about attending a university on the Eastern Shore where they could receive a four-year degree and/or ongoing professional development. This survey is designed for high school students, young adults, parents, people who work in the educational field, people interested in professional development or anyone interested in education.

The information we gather through this research will help us create a business plan that speaks to the community’s needs and ideals.
The goal is to hear from as many people who live and work on Virginia’s Eastern Shore as possible.
