While the taking and riot around the Capitol were understandable, yes we get the anger, get the rage that went into it. It was also a mistake and a terrible miscalculation.
MAGA conservatives do not control the narrative. While BLM and Antifa can burn down neighborhoods and loot stores, this is somehow painted as social justice–they have a right to do this. Their actions are actually held up as a higher moral standard. For almost a year, the Federal Courthouse has been attacked and burned, had fireworks rockets fired at it, but nobody has really said much about it.
But when MAGA does this, the narrative is that they are somehow DOMESTIC TERRORISTS. There is no media backing, no narrative backing.
What these guys did Wednesday was a terrible mistake. One person was shot in cold blood, but others are all on video and photos–they are going to go to jail. To jail for a long time. Nothing was gained from attacking the Capitol, but a lot was lost.
Dudes on the right, this tactic will never work for you. The Right, the conservative movement needs another strategy. What works for the Left, riots and looting, is just not for you.
The scary thing, now with the Left fully in control, do not be surprised if they use this event to justify the ultra-hard, double-downed, new and improved Patriot Act that is quickly coming to a town near you.
Already in Virginia, they are using this to justify increasing gun free zones across the state.
My message to conservatives: blow up the TV and start reading books. Learn to play chess. Learn to be strategic.
