Another great way to spend summer in Central Park. The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse, a fun children’s show by Ford Flannagan will be put on in the park Wednesday, August 11 at 6 p.m.
Based on Aesop’s Fable, the show is being hosted by Citizens for Central Park and the Town of Cape Charles and is presented by the Virginia Repertory Theater (VRT) with grants from the Virginia Commission for the Arts and VRT donors.
The show is Free and for ages from 3 to Adult.
VRT will erect a 20’x25′ set on the large sidewalk area at the southwestern corner next to the gazebo, with the audience being able to sit in the grass in front. There are 4-5 teens in the cast and the shows are about 50 minutes in length. The cast is willing/interested in talking with the audience about the show at its conclusion.
